Flight of Passage
Rinker Buck
True story of two brothers who rebuild a old Piper Cub and fly it across the United States. Excellent story and is well written.
Edison
Inventing the Century

Neil Baldwin
Very well written book on the life of the great inventor. This is probably the best and most researched book on Thomas Edison.

Steve Jobs
The Journey is the Reward

Jeffry S. Young
I've read many books about Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, & the history of Apple Computer and this is best.
Gates
Stephen Manes & Paul Andrews
Probably the best book of the many I have read on Bill Gates, Paul Allen, and the creation of Microsoft.
The Great Good Place
Ray Oldenburg
Very interesting book on the need of 'third' places in peoples lives. With the home and office being one and two. This book covers the history of the third place being the neighborhood pub, coffeehouse, bookstore, etc...

Programmers at Work
Susan Lammers
Interesting book of interviews with well know programmers of early personal computers. The some nineteen interviews include Dan Blicklin (Visicalc), Andy Hertzfield (MacOS), Gary Kildall (CP/M), and Bill Gates (BASIC).

Hackers
Steven Levy
I've read this great book several times. It follows closely the beginning of computers and programming from 1959 at MIT through personal computers of the 70's & early 80's.

Debt of Honor
Tom Clancy
Personally I think this is his best book and one of the few that has not been made into a movie. Probably because there is so many different plot lines that go on simultaneously converging to a huge ending that it would be impossible go do it all in a 2 hour movie.

Dove
Robin Lee Graham
This great book covers the story of Robin Lee Graham's trip around the world sailing alone in a 24 foot boat.

Making of McPaper
Peter Prichard
Most people never thought a national newspaper was feasable, let alone profitable. This book covers the interesting story of the creation of USA Today.

Showstopper
G . Pascal Zachary
Inside story of the creation of the Microsoft NT Operating System.

Soul of a New Machine
This is one of the first books that covered the process of creating a new computer system. This is the behind the scenes story of the development of a DEC minicomputer in the early 1980's.
