Edison, the Man
Spencer Tracy gives a classic performance as the great inventor
Thomas Edison. This movie was released in 1944.
Earlier in the
year a 'companion' movie was released by the same studio starring
Mickey Rooney called
Young Tom Edison.
Even though these movie embellesh as all biographical movie tend
to do. Both are fine movies and portray a fairly accurate historical
perspective of this great man.

Maybe the best 'computer' movie. Matthew Broderick play David
Lightman wants to play computer games and ends up trying to stop
World War III.

You've Got Mail
Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are together again in the love story about
people who meet over the Internet. Parker Posey, Greg Kinnear,
and the other supporting cast are great in their supporting roles.
Actually makes you think it would be nice to live in New York
City. ;)

What about a VCR for the brain? That is the premise of this 1983
sci-fi movie about an invention which can record thoughts, memories,
feelings, and experiences of a person and play it back for others.
This is thoughtful movie about how a wonderful invention can be
used and misused.
